History
Airport History
Opened in 1984 on the northern part of the island at Partheni. The airport was built to serve the local community and the significant healthcare facilities on the island. In recent years, the terminal has seen minor upgrades to accommodate the increase in niche tourism and sailing enthusiasts who use Leros as a base for the Dodecanese.
