History
Airport History
The "New" Paros Airport opened in July 2016, replacing the old facility which had a very short runway. Since its opening, it has seen rapid growth. As of 2026, major expansion works are nearing completion, including a new 12,000 m2 terminal building and the extension of the runway to 1,799 meters to allow larger jet aircraft (Boeing 737/Airbus A320) to land from international origins.
