In Japan, passengers and visitors were mentally present at the airport on November 15 on the occasion of the year of Japan-Greece Tourism, as part of the Cultural Destinations program, a collaboration of Athens International Airport with "FELLOI".
An explosive, and perfectly coordinated kinesiological entrance with traditional Taiko percussion, flute sounds, an impressive kimono choreography, hip-hop elements, but also an operatic excerpt from Madama Butterfly, brought to the airport departures area its mysterious charm of the Land of the Rising Sun. The magic of Japan was also brought to life at the airport by ikebana flower arrangements and an origami demonstration, while haiku verses were played on a giant screen. Travelers and visitors walked the streets of Tokyo through VR, took photos with swords and kimonos in front of the photobooth, took part in a fun quiz and tasted Japanese food and drinks.
