Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos" (LGAV)
The capital hub faces sustained peak-summer temperatures throughout the first week of August. Daytime maximums will hold between 35°C and 38°C, with peak thermal intensity occurring during afternoon local hours. Overnight cooling provides moderate relief, dipping to 24°C–26°C. Prevailing winds will maintain a steady north-northwesterly (N/NNW) vector at 10–18 knots, with moderate afternoon gusts.
